Mindful Mobile Medicine - Immediate Opening for Medical Assistant (No Certification Needed)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role combines clinical support with front-office administrative responsibilities to ensure a seamless patient experience and efficient practice operations. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

  • Assist healthcare providers with scheduling and orders
  • Coordinate care and ancillary services for provider
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system
  • Ensure providers have appropriate materials, supplies and are prepared for their visits
  • Possible travel to patient facilities as needed
  • Possible hybrid schedules, some days in office, some from home

Administrative Duties:

  • Greet and take calls for clinic, communicate with patients; verify insurances
  • Schedule appointments, procedures, and follow-ups
  • Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and route calls appropriately
  • Process medical records, referrals, and help with prior authorizations
  • Order office and medical supplies
Qualifications:
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training a plus
  • 2 years of experience in a medical setting - MANDATORY
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks)
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team
