Job description:

Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is seeking multiple Certified Medical Assistants ready to impact their community with Clinical Excellence!!

Urgent care Primary care, and Specialty experience needed for multiple clinic needs throughout the Santa Clara county area.

Pay Rate: $26- 29.00 hourly (COE)

Primary care schedule: 8 hour shifts - Monday through Friday

Specialty Clinic schedule: 8 hour shifts - Monday through Friday

Urgent care schedule: 8 hour shifts - Monday through Sunday with rotating weekends

Contract assignment - 90 days to 6 Months - with possible permanent placement

We are urgently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our client who will work under the direction of licensed medical providers. Your role will be to provide patient care and clerical duties to assist with implementing the plan of care, and contributes to the overall patient experience and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

· Review and preparation of patient charts

· Rooming patients

· Taking and recording vital signs

· Performing EKG’s

· Collecting specimens

· Additional roles such as answering phones and assisting the clinical process

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Two (2) years of experience in an ambulatory care/outpatient clinic environment required
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant from the following is preferred:
  • AAMA – American Association of Medical Assistants
  • CCBMA – California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants
  • AMT– American Medical Technologists Certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience working with an EMR (Epic) preferred
