Job description

Looking for a Certified Medical Assistant ready to impact their community with Clinical Excellence!! We are urgently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our client who will work under the direction of licensed medical providers. Your role will be to provide patient care and clerical duties to assist with implementing the plan of care, and contributes to the overall patient experience and satisfaction.Urology or similar specialty experience required.Pay Rate: $26- 29.00 hourly (COE)Contract assignment - temp to hire!

Responsibilities: Review and preparation of patient charts Rooming patients Taking and recording vital signs Performing EKG's Collecting specimens Additional roles such as answering phones and assisting the clinical processRequirements:High School Diploma or GEDCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant programTwo (2) years of experience in an ambulatory care/outpatient clinic environment preferredCurrent certification as a Medical Assistant from the following is preferred:AAMA - American Association of Medical AssistantsCCBMA - California Certifying Board of Medical AssistantsAMT- American Medical Technologists Certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)Current CPR certificationExperience working with an EMR (Epic) preferredDo you know another MA who could work with you?
