POSITION OVERVIEW – GVI Operations Manager
This role oversees the end-to-end operations of Galaxy Value Innovation business activities from device collection via trade-in, through production, to outbound shipping, customer delivery, and RMA returns — across Coppell (MPC/LPS/eComm) and SEV sites. The role leads activity planning processes, supports business planning and budgeting, and reports on key metrics and KPIs to senior leadership, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure production targets and operational efficiencies are met. The role sits between pure strategy and floor-level production, roughly equal parts operational execution and data/reporting. Functioning as an operational program manager who uses data to drive decisions and keep teams accountable.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop activity planning processes and ensure adoption across business units
  • Play a lead role in the development of business plans, planning, and budgeting activities
  • Create goals and KPIs for regional and global strategies as set out by senior leadership
  • Report to senior leadership and key stakeholders on key metrics and KPIs on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis
  • Support in establishing and running operational processes
  • Create materials and presentations for team meetings, off-sites, and other key events
  • Oversee and manage internal end-to-end operations of GVI business activities (Coppell (MPC/LPS/eComm), SEV, etc.)
  • Manage all inventory processes related to internal CRN, Refurb, BR, CTC, customer order fulfillment, RMA, aging inventory movements, and issue resolution
  • Manage all aspects of GVI production at Coppell and SEV, Demand Fulfillment (DF), logistics, and RMA operational activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MPC, SP, LPS/Warehouse, and Sales) to ensure all production targets are met
  • Manage overall operational efficiencies, KPIs, and process improvements for the GVI (CRN & Refurb) category
  • Perform monthly MTV counts and semi-annual Physical Inventory (PI) counts as required
  • Provide inventory control support (aging and blocked stock)
  • Perform regular risk assessment analysis and provide recommendations and support
  • Build simulation-style forecast reports in Excel projecting production outlook, shipping plans, and near-term daily/weekly forecasts for current and future quarters
  • Interpret raw data from multiple teams and formats to identify operational risks versus smooth-running areas, translating findings into actionable operational decisions
  • Serve as the operational point of contact across logistics teams, warehouse staff, and executive leadership
  • Oversee logistics timelines and deadlines through accountability and coordination with logistics partners, rather than hands-on logistics execution
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related subject
  • Previous experience in a decision-making/strategic management role within a large organization
  • 8–10 years of experience
  • Advanced Excel proficiency required — VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, cell/column functions, and simulation-style formulas; must be hands-on proficient building calculations directly in Excel
  • Basic PowerPoint/presentation skills
  • Strong adaptability and ability to quickly learn and apply new processes; prior role tenure or title matters less than demonstrated operational execution capability
  • Strong verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively across multiple audience levels, from warehouse/logistics teams to executive leadership
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time
  • Ability to collaborate with other business units and senior stakeholders
