Document Controller (Light Drafting)

Company: Dynamic Steel LLC Location: Owensboro, KY (On-site) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18-$25/hr, depending on experience

About the Role

Dynamic Steel LLC is hiring a Document Controller to manage project documentation and provide light drafting support. This role suits an organized self-starter with 1-3 years of experience who can read shop drawings accurately and keep documentation systems running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize project documentation, drawings, and revisions
  • Provide light drafting support using AutoCAD
  • Work within Tekla PowerFab to manage fabrication documentation and workflows
  • Read and interpret shop drawings for accuracy and completeness
  • Track document revisions and ensure the correct versions reach the shop floor
  • Support project teams with document requests and status updates using Microsoft Office

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in document control, drafting, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
