Job description

The document specialist or controller will review, verify, and approve Material Test Reports (MTRs) and material certifications for metallic materials used in subsea applications. Ensures compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and material traceability requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve MTRs, COCs, and material certification packages.
  • Verify chemical, mechanical, and heat-treatment requirements against applicable standards and specifications.
  • Ensure full material traceability and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies and material-related nonconformances.
  • Support audits, quality investigations, and supplier qualification activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of approved material documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in quality assurance, metallurgy, or materials engineering.
  • Knowledge of ASTM, ASME, API, ISO, NORSOK, and subsea material requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documentation.
