We are looking for a driven Document Control Professional to support our Project Team. As a member of our team, you ’ ll be coordinating and administering document management activities relative to identification, control, and change documents directly related to the assigned project. You will also independently manage other day-to-day tasks related to document and records management. This position regularly interacts with internal Jacobs team members, client, and external stakeholder contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for Managing, tracking, and maintaining controlled documents throughout their lifecycle.

Reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness, formatting, and revision control.

Coordinating document approvals, reviews, and distribution with stakeholders.

Ensuring that contract requirements are met.

Ensuring documents meet standards for production.

Assuring project participants are trained in practical application of systems.

General administrative responsibilities within the document control function including data entry, providing training of new users, and maintaining internal process documentation, onboarding new team members support.

Here's what you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Document Control experience with electronic, engineering, architectural, and construction documents (i.e., drawings, technical specifications, submittals, RFIs, etc.)
  • Version control, change management, and document lifecycle management.
  • Proven experience with ProjectWise, SharePoint, industry standard EDMS and MS Office Applications, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of documentation accurately.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
Ideally, you will also have:
  • Associate degree (minimum) and\or bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Relevant certifications may be beneficial (e.g., Certified Document Controller or records management certifications)
  • Effective communication skills and understanding of technical terminology.
  • Previous experience with engineering, construction, or EPC project environments.

The base salary range for this position is $110,500.00 to $151,900.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
