Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the following:
• Directly and indirectly supervises hourly foundry employees.
• Participates in the establishment of production goals and timetables for the foundry.
• Organizes production procedures and monitors performance.
• Maintains a foundry budget and implements cost reduction and profit improvement programs.
• Maintains close surveillance over all foundry operations to assure that schedules and timetables are met.
Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities - Supervises hourly employees in the assigned area of responsibility and elsewhere as directed. Is responsible for the direction, coordination, and assisting with the evaluation of these areas. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
