Job description

Job purpose

Responsible for executing fleet utilization strategy across terminals using data provided by the Fleet Analyst.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage fleet utilization across terminals
  • Identify and act on underutilized equipment
  • Execute equipment transfers and redeployments
  • Coordinate asset placement with operations
  • Monitor utilization and revenue performance
  • Perform root-cause analysis on underperforming assets
  • Escalate long-term capital decisions to Fleet Manager

Accountability & Authority

  • Owns execution of utilization and deployment
  • Uses analyst data (not responsible for system accuracy)
  • Can execute equipment moves
  • Holds terminals accountable for process compliance

Qualifications

  • 5+ years fleet/transportation experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong operational and decision-making skills
  • Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and agree to company’s drug free workplace policies
  • Valid Driver’s License; some local travel may be required
