REQ14477 Executive, Travel Operations (Open)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Executive, Travel Operations is responsible to assist in travel arrangement and coordinate daily operational tasks, maintain the travel agent counters operations in Melco Properties to ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in travel arrangement coordination and daily operational tasks.
  • Prepare travel documents (itineraries, tickets, hotel confirmations) and deliver them to customers in a timely manner, include but not limited to assist with customers' relevant passport and visa requirement, travel insurance, etc.
  • Plan and sell transportations, accommodations and other travel services.
  • Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise the appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations.
  • Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) totravellers.
  • Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment / fees
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow up on travel arrangements, confirm with suppliers and customers to ensure no errors.
  • Handle simple travel inquiries, changes and cancellations under the guidance of senior consultants.
  • Maintain travel records, sort out documents and assist in data statistics and report preparation.
  • Support the team in daily administrative work and coordinate with the admin support to ensure smooth operation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.
  • Adhere to and act in accordance with all established policies and procedures of the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in a travel agency, corporate travel department or hospitality industry.
  • Experience in handling business travel or high-end membership travel arrangements is preferred.
  • Familiar with travel booking processes and supplier coordination.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.

Skills / Competencies

  • Proficient in travel booking systems (e.g. GDS, air tickets, hotels, transportation) and office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Good communication and coordination skills, able to work closely with the team and customers.
  • Detail-oriented, patient and responsible, with strong execution ability.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese); basic English communication skills are required.
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to the work rhythm, able to handle routine tasks efficiently.
  • Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
