Job description

Position: Executive Host: Full-Time/Second Shift. Salary: $41,916.00/ Negotiable. Location: Gaming Division. Reports to: Player Development Manager

Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture relationships with high-value players to enhance loyalty and retention.
  • Identify and cultivate potential high-value players through effective relationship building and targeted communications.
  • Assist declining players to optimize their offers and prevent program abuse.
  • Manage and adhere to budgets to improve profit margins and revenue.
  • Communicate player development initiatives effectively through various channels.
  • Monitor and analyze play habits, preferences, and program usage of assigned players.
  • Promote and recruit new members for the Players Club program.
  • Provide leadership and support to Players Club Staff as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with players to promote upcoming events and services.
  • Maintain visibility on the casino floor during events and daily operations.
  • Monitor player ratings and ensure personalized service during visits.
  • Coordinate player arrangements such as hotel reservations and special events.
  • Provide general guest service information and assistance as required.
  • Perform clerical tasks including activity logging and report submissions.
  • Uphold high standards of integrity and confidentiality in all guest interactions.
  • Adhere to departmental attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Maintain professionalism and adherence to dress code policies.
  • Comply with all rules, regulations, and policies of North Star Mohican Casino Resort.

Qualifications & Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License.
  • Must pass a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB).
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and health screening.
  • Flexible availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive attitude with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to adapt to change and participate in ongoing training.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a satisfactory working record.
  • Eligible for employer's liability insurance.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Preferred a minimum of one year front-of-house gaming experience with a strong guest service record.
  • Experience with player tracking systems and casino math.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle diverse and challenging situations professionally.
  • Must be willing to travel. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance are required. Must obtain a Wisconsin's driver's license within 30 days of employment if applicant has an out-of-state driver's license. Must meet and maintain the eligibility to operate a personal or tribal vehicle under the driver acceptability guidelines as established by Mohican Insurance.
