Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our Founder, April McDaniel. This role ensures the smooth coordination of scheduling, logistics, and day-to-day executive support for a fast-moving, high-volume schedule.

April McDaniel is the founder of Crown + Conquer, Let It Break, and media platform Everybody’s Crazy. The Executive Assistant will work in close partnership with her to manage calendar flow, meeting logistics, and follow-through across her work.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and calm under pressure, with a high degree of discretion and reliability. Experience supporting senior leaders in fast-paced environments is essential.

Job Responsibilities

Founder Support

  • Manage the Founder’s calendar, including scheduling, coordination, and prioritization of meetings
  • Support a complex, fast-moving schedule across multiple workstreams and time zones
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, calls, and travel
  • Prepare meeting materials and ensure clear agendas and objectives
  • Track follow-ups and action items from meetings to support execution
  • Monitor incoming requests and support scheduling alignment with priorities
  • Anticipate conflicts and flag issues in advance
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
     
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience supporting founders or senior executives in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex calendars and logistics independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt to shifting needs
  • Calm, reliable, and solutions-oriented approach
  • High level of discretion and trustworthiness
