Job description

About Turing
Based in San Francisco, California, Turing is the world's leading research accelerator for frontier AI labs and a trusted partner for global enterprises looking to deploy advanced AI systems. Turing accelerates frontier research with high-quality data, specialized talent, and training pipelines that advance thinking, reasoning, coding, multimodality, and STEM. For enterprises, Turing builds proprietary intelligence systems that integrate AI into mission-critical workflows, unlock transformative outcomes, and drive lasting competitive advantage.
Recognized by Forbes, The Information, and Fast Company among the world's top innovators, Turing's leadership team includes AI technologists from Meta, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, McKinsey, Bain, Stanford, Caltech, and MIT. Learn more at www.turing.com
About the Team
The Office of the CEO operates at the center of Turing's highest-priority strategic initiatives. We partner across executive leadership while representing the company externally with investors, frontier AI labs, enterprise customers, board members, strategic partners, and industry leaders.
This team exists to create leverage for the Founder & CEO where the company's most important decisions are made.
The Role
Behind every founder operating at full speed is someone who helps turn motion into momentum.
As Executive Assistant to the Founder & CEO, you will provide integrated executive and personal support designed to keep him operating at his highest level. Your mandate is to anticipate what he will need, remove friction before it reaches him, and return his time and attention to the work that creates the greatest business impact.
This is a high-trust, hands-on execution role-not an advisory position. You will move seamlessly between consequential business priorities, personal logistics, and select family-office needs, approaching each with discretion, urgency, resourcefulness, and care.
The Founder & CEO leads with a calm, measured, and respectful demeanor while managing an exceptionally demanding schedule at a start-up speed. He holds himself and those around him to the highest standards. The right person will keep pace, have an AI-forward approach, anticipate needs without waiting for direction, and remain grounded and effective as priorities change.
Why This Role Matters
For an exceptional executive assistant, this is a career-defining opportunity to work alongside a leader pioneering the frontier of AI. You will operate with significant trust and responsibility, helping create the conditions that allow the Founder & CEO to focus, make decisions, maintain critical relationships, and lead effectively.
This is a performance role first-an opportunity to earn trust, expand your capabilities, and create meaningful leverage through exceptional execution.
What You Will Own
  • Protect the Founder & CEO's Time and Priorities. Manage a complex, frequently changing calendar with precision and business judgment. Evaluate competing demands, preserve time for the highest-impact work, and keep the day organized as circumstances are fast-evolved.
  • Deliver Integrated Executive, Personal, and Family-Office Support. Own appointments, reservations, expenses, purchases, gifting, special requests, and household-related coordination. Work effectively with advisors, vendors, service providers, and internal partners to remove demands that would otherwise require the Founder & CEO's time.
  • Anticipate Needs and Turn Obstacles Into Solutions. See around corners, identify potential obstacles, and act before they create unnecessary demands. Treat an initial "no" as the beginning of the problem-solving process, finding thoughtful alternatives that achieve the best outcome while protecting relationships, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Build Reliable Systems Around the Details. Maintain organized systems for confidential files, contacts, expenses, invoices, important documents, appointments, renewals, and recurring professional and personal responsibilities.
  • Execute Complex Domestic and International Travel. Plan flights, accommodations, transportation, documentation, itineraries, and special requirements across multiple time zones. Travel with the Founder & CEO when needed, provide real-time logistical support, and resolve last-minute changes calmly and resourcefully.
  • Create Coordination Across the Office of the CEO. Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to the CEO, Head of People, and broader administrative and leadership teams to maintain clear ownership and continuity across professional and personal priorities.
Who You Are
  • Service-minded and hands-on. You take pride in making life more organized and less stressful. No task is beneath you when it contributes to a better outcome.
  • Constructively relentless. Obstacles are never the end of the path. You ask better questions, identify alternatives, engage the right people, and persist until you reach the strongest workable solution.
  • Proactive and highly organized. You anticipate what is needed, maintain command of competing priorities, and follow through without repeated reminders.
  • Resourceful and polished. You operate confidently with senior and high-profile stakeholders while remaining humble enough to manage the smallest details.
  • Calm under pressure. You remain composed and solution-oriented when schedules shift, travel changes, or urgent demands collide.
  • Discreet by default. You handle highly confidential business and personal information with maturity, professionalism, and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of high-trust support experience with a founder, CEO, senior executive, high-profile individual, or similarly demanding principal, including 2+ years in a blended executive and personal assistant role.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex calendars, competing demands, executive communications, personal coordination, and rapidly shifting priorities.
  • Experience managing complex and multi-leg domestic and international travel.
  • Exceptional organizational and project-management skills, with strong attention to detail across executive-level matters and hands-on personal requests.
  • Strong business judgment, discretion, and the ability to assess urgency, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and act with minimal direction.
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work out of the San Francisco & Palo Alto office 5 days per week, support irregular hours when necessary, and travel domestically and internationally based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience supporting a founder, CEO, senior executive, entrepreneur, high-profile individual, or private office.
  • Experience supporting a principal in technology, finance, luxury hospitality, travel, a family or private office, or another high-intensity environment.
  • Experience coordinating executive and personal priorities across household staff, vendors, service providers, and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Before You Apply
This role operates at the pace of the Founder & CEO. Business and personal demands will not always occur during standard working hours, and travel or other priorities may change with little notice.
This is not a traditional 9-to-5 position. It requires flexibility, discretion, and hands-on ownership across executive and personal support. If you are seeking a predictable schedule or a role limited to conventional administrative responsibilities, this may not be the right opportunity.
Location & Work Model
  • Full-time, in-office role with time in both our Palo Alto and San Francisco offices and the flexibility to support the CEO wherever business requires.
  • Flexibility to support priorities outside standard working hours when necessary
  • Potential domestic and international travel based on business needs
Compensation & Benefits
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$200,000 USD. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for equity and benefits.
Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business considerations.
Application Process
Please submit:
  • Resume
  • Professional references from a founder, CEO, senior executive, or high-profile individual you have directly supported

Our interview process typically includes:
  • Introductory conversation
  • Team & Executive interview
  • Working session
  • Reference checks
  • Offer
