Party Host Manager Description

INTRODUCTION

The Party Host Manager organizes all aspects of birthday parties and group events including contacting interested individuals, managing reservations in PoS and scheduling staff.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hires, trains, schedules and supervises team of up to 15 party hosts
  • Provides courteous customer service and responds to customer’s questions, complaints or requests. Directs any unresolved issues to the General Manager
  • Assists supervised staff in their job performance during peak activity periods or as required
  • Schedule, coordinate and manage birthday party requests and reservations
  • Oversee/provide clean up following parties
  • Ensure that party schedule and details are completed accurately and on time
  • Order and manage pizza delivery and inventory of party supplies
  • Operates Point of Sale (POS) system including deposits and party transactions
  • Develop and implement post-party follow up and referral process
  • Create a fun and enthusiastic environment for all guests
  • Partner with Marketing team to develop and facilitate a marketing plan to drive more parties
  • Maintains an image of competence and professionalism to customers, employees and management
  • Maintains proper employee/employer relations and addresses any questions in a timely and open manner, including disciplinary actions, recognition and performance evaluations
  • Provides or performs other services or duties as required by General Manager

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience managing and motivating a team of young employees strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
