Job description

Top E&S wholesale brokerage is seeking an Account Executive / Broker Assistant to support our brokers across the full insurance lifecycle, from submissions and marketing through binding, policy issuance, and ongoing servicing. This is a hands-on, process-driven role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced wholesale environment and takes ownership of their workflows with precision and professionalism.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process binders, endorsements, policies, certificates, and other policy documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist brokers with quote preparation, submission follow-up, and carrier communications.
  • Handle policy servicing responsibilities throughout the policy term, including renewals and cancellations.
  • Coordinate with retail agents, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth transactions and excellent service.
  • Maintain organized files and ensure compliance with underwriting and documentation requirements.
  • Support brokers with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3-5 years of insurance experience (wholesale brokerage preferred; carrier or retail agency experience also considered).
  • Strong understanding of E&S or commercial lines products and processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance management systems.
