Job description

This role serves as a key partner to the business, owning the end-to-end design and delivery of the business area's most complex, high-visibility internal events. Beyond logistical execution, this role helps shape the overall event strategy, ensuring every experience reinforces organizational priorities, strengthens culture, and advances business objectives at the highest levels.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serves as the primary point of contact to business leadership, translating priorities and organizational goals into thoughtfully designed, high-impact experiences that drive alignment, engagement, and business outcomes across the enterprise.

  • Manages end-to-end planning and execution of high-profile internal events, including but not limited to leadership team meetings, quarterly business review meetings, and business area summits.

  • Advises business leaders on event strategy and format, providing subject matter expertise to actively help shape the program.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders, to influence key decisions that ensure seamless coordination and event delivery.

  • Leads venue sourcing and contract negotiations in partnership with Event Sourcing, to secure favorable terms, manage risk, and optimize event experiences within financial parameters.

  • Partners with Internal Communications to ensure events are aligned with broader organizational messaging, change initiatives, or cultural moments.

  • Owns post-event assessment, including attendee feedback, budget reconciliation reporting, and lessons learned documentation to inform future programs.

  • Owns budget planning, forecasting, financial reporting and stewardship for assigned events; identifies cost optimization opportunities to drive maximum return on investment for each program.

  • Helps establish and continuously elevate standards of excellence for event design, ensuring all experiences authentically reflect TIAA's brand identity, executive presence expectations, and strategic narrative.

Anticipated Posting End Date:

2026-06-27Base Pay Range: $100,000/yr - $141,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
