Role Overview
The Marketing Manager, Event Marketing (Americas) is responsible for the day-to-day execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive delegate registration and engagement across a portfolio of events. This role plays a critical part in delivering against event revenue targets by executing high-quality, data-driven marketing programs across multiple channels.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, this role partners closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns are launched on time, optimized for performance, and aligned with overall event strategy and brand standards.
Job Description
The Marketing Manager supports the execution of delegate marketing campaigns for assigned events, translating strategy into action through coordinated, multi-channel campaign delivery. This role is highly execution-focused, requiring strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Working across email, digital, content, and partnerships, the Marketing Manager executes and optimizes campaigns using marketing automation and AI tools to improve targeting, personalize messaging, and drive performance.
This role requires strong copywriting skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deliver engaging, content-driven marketing tied to conference programming.
Success in this role will be defined by the ability to execute campaigns flawlessly, contribute to achieving registration targets, and support a best-in-class event marketing experience.
Execute Integrated Marketing Campaigns
Support the development and execute multi-channel marketing and content marketing campaigns across email, paid media, organic social, partnerships, and web to drive event registrations.
Manage Day-to-Day Campaign Operations
Own the day-to-day execution of marketing plans, including campaign setup, scheduling, QA, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
Leverage Marketing Automation and AI Tools
Utilize marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot, Sailthru) and AI-powered tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to:
  • Build, segment, and manage audience lists 
  • Personalize campaign messaging at scale 
  • Optimize send times, targeting, and channel performance 
  • Automate workflows and nurture sequences 
  • Improve efficiency and campaign effectiveness through data-driven insights and analysis
Develop High-Impact Marketing Copy
Write and optimize compelling, conversion-focused copy across:
  • Email campaigns and nurture flows 
  • Landing pages and registration sites 
  • Digital advertising (paid social, display, retargeting) 
  • Event websites and promotional materials 
Ensure messaging is audience-centric, aligned with brand voice, and optimized for engagement and conversion.
Support Performance Tracking and Optimization
Monitor campaign performance against KPIs, providing regular updates and insights to the Senior Marketing Director. Make data-driven recommendations to improve conversion and engagement.
Maintain Campaign Calendars and Timelines
Manage detailed marketing calendars using Monday.com to ensure all campaigns and deliverables are executed on schedule and aligned with event milestones.
Coordinate Marketing Asset Development
Work with design and content teams to develop and deploy marketing assets, including emails, websites, landing pages, digital ads, and promotional materials.
Ensure Brand Consistency Across Touchpoints
Help maintain a cohesive look and feel across all event materials, including pre-event communications, onsite collateral, and post-event follow-up.
Support Onsite and Post-Event Marketing Execution
Assist in the development and execution of onsite materials (e.g., signage, program guides, presentations) and post-event communications, including attendee follow-up campaigns.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
Partner with Programming, Event Operations, Sales, and Marketing Operations to ensure alignment across messaging, timelines, and execution.
Assist with Budget Tracking
Support tracking of marketing spend and vendor invoices to ensure alignment with budget plans.
