An event marketing manager oversees the development and delivery of events held to promote a company, brand, or product. In this role, your job duties include managing a team of event planners and consulting with the company’s marketing and sales strategists to determine how to successfully produce public or private events, such as pop-ups, tastings, or openings. Qualifications for this career typically include some education in event management or a few years of related experience. You should be familiar with event planning and coordination and have excellent verbal communication and leadership skills.

Procore

Austin, TX • On-site

Job description

The Events Marketing Manager is a strategic, execution-focused professional responsible for bringing high-impact live events and experiential activations to life. In this role, you will own the planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of marketing events, with a heavy emphasis on trade shows, alongside owned Procore events.
We are looking for a forward-thinking event leader who doesn't just follow a checklist, but actively builds scalable processes, plans strategically, and keeps a pulse on industry trends. If you are a proactive project manager who thrives on turning a grand vision into seamless execution and loves creating a memorable attendee experience while leveraging event technology to drive measurable results, you will fit right in. This role is ideal for an event marketer who enjoys working cross-functionally, balancing creative execution with data-driven decision-making, and translating event strategies into cohesive, high-performing experiential activations.
This role reports into the Director, Strategic Global Events and is based in Austin.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution of tier 1 corporate trade shows and owned event experiences, partnering with multiple marketing stakeholders
  • Help organize and set up events for success from the initial stages. Build, document, and refine repeatable event management processes to scale our operations.
  • Manage end-to-end event communications, landing page creation, and attendee journeys leveraging core marketing technology tools.
  • Partner closely with product marketing, field marketing, sales and enablement teams to set up pre-event email campaigns, build targeted registration lists, and track weekly registration and engagement numbers.
  • Clearly articulate the brand vision both internally and with third-party production vendors to create best-in-class consumer experiences. Handle contract negotiations and vendor relationships.
  • Ability to manage and drive comprehensive budget development, forecasting, and final reconciliation. Oversee inventory management for event collateral and corporate assets.
  • Proactively manage project timelines and compile weekly event reports. Conduct thorough post-event evaluations to assess success metrics, analyze ROI, and gather feedback to enhance future events.

Qualifications & Skills
  • 6+ years of experience in event marketing, with a proven track record of managing complex trade shows; B2B SaaS experience preferred
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to clearly communicate results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and contributing to shared goals in a fast-paced environment
  • A process-oriented operator who cares deeply about consistency, scale, and outcomes - not just execution
  • Hands-on experience working with event technology tools, ideally Cvent/icapture.
  • Strong experience with budget development, meticulous tracking, and vendor negotiation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to deliver results, insights, and strategic recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable pivoting priorities as business goals and market needs evolve

Additional Information
Base Pay Range:
114,400.00 - 157,300.00 USD Annual
This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
For Los Angeles County (unincorporated) Candidates:
Procore will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records, in accordance with the requirements of applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.
A criminal history may have a direct, adverse, and negative relationship on the following job duties, potentially resulting in the withdrawal of the conditional offer of employment: 1. appropriately managing, accessing, and handling confidential information including proprietary and trade secret information, as well as accessing Procore's information technology systems and platforms; 2. interacting with and occasionally having unsupervised contact with internal/external customers, stakeholders, and/or colleagues; and 3. exercising sound judgment.
