Job description

Neil Huffman is hiring a VIP/Equity Manager for our sales and service Inventory Growth!

Schedule Monday-Friday 8-5

VIP Manager/Equity Manager (Service-to-Sales Specialist)

Turn Service Traffic Into Sales & Inventory Growth

We're not hiring a traditional salesperson.

We're building a data-driven profit center inside our service drive, and we need a dedicated Equity Manager to own it.

This role is for someone who understands that the biggest opportunity in a dealership isn't more leads-it's better utilization of the customers already walking through the door every day.

What This Role Actually Is

This is not:

  • Standing on the lot waiting for ups
  • Cold calling internet leads all day
  • "Selling" service customers

This is:

  • Identifying real equity opportunities using data
  • Creating a premium, low-pressure ownership experience
  • Driving incremental sales and inventory acquisition without increasing ad spend

You're not pushing deals-you're presenting options.

What You'll Own

You will have full responsibility for executing our Service-to-Sales process:

Daily Execution

  • Run equity mining reports and identify high-value opportunities
  • Work directly from service appointments-no guessing, no randomness
  • Pre-contact customers before arrival to set expectations
  • Coordinate with service advisors for seamless introductions

Customer Experience

  • Deliver a VIP, no-pressure consultation
  • Present two clear paths every time:
  • Upgrade into a newer vehicle
  • Sell us their current vehicle (no purchase required)
  • Focus on clarity, trust, and long-term relationships-not urgency tactics

Process Discipline

  • Log every interaction in CRM (notes, timing, objections, next steps)
  • Execute structured follow-up (24hr / 3-day / 7-day cadence)
  • Maintain consistency-this role is about process, not guesswork

What Success Looks Like

You're not measured on activity-you're measured on results:

  • Service customers engaged
  • Sit-downs / write-ups
  • Units sold
  • Gross per deal
  • Trades acquired
  • Cost per acquisition (target: near zero)

If you're doing this right, you're:

  • Generating deals without chasing leads
  • Acquiring high-quality inventory without auctions
  • Building real customer retention

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communicator who can build trust quickly
  • Process-driven and consistent (not "winging it")
  • Comfortable using CRM, DMS, and equity mining tools
  • Experience in automotive sales, BDC, or service is a plus-but mindset matters more
  • Someone who understands that less pressure = more deals

Why This Role Is Different

Most dealerships overlook the service drive.

We don't.

This position is a core revenue driver with direct impact on:

  • Sales volume
  • Used inventory acquisition
  • Customer retention

You'll be working with warm, existing customers-not fighting over the same internet leads as everyone else.

Compensation

  • Competitive base + performance bonuses
  • Incentives tied to:
  • Engagements
  • Shows
  • Sold units
  • Inventory acquired

High performers in this role create multiple income streams from one interaction.

Final Thought

This is not a "try it and see" role.

This is a structured system that works-if it's executed with discipline.

If you're someone who:

  • Thinks strategically
  • Executes consistently
  • And wants to be part of something that actually moves the needle...

Apply now.

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Health savings account
  • Referral program
  • Retirement plan
  • Vision insurance
