Job Description:Â
The Assistant Property Manager will support the daily operations of residential communities while also assisting the broader property management team with administrative and compliance-related initiatives. This position is fully onsite, with time split between assigned properties and the main office. The role provides direct responsibility for a portfolio of approximately 50–100 units, along with cross-functional team support.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
- Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned residential propertiesÂ
- Conduct routine property inspections and ensure community standards are maintainedÂ
- Support rent collection efforts and lease compliance processesÂ
- Serve as a primary point of contact for resident questions and concernsÂ
- Coordinate maintenance requests and monitor unit turns and vacanciesÂ
- Maintain accurate resident files and ensure regulatory complianceÂ
- Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation requirementsÂ
- Provide backup coverage for other property management team members as neededÂ
- Contribute to special projects and departmental process improvementsÂ
- Uphold Fair Housing standards and maintain confidentiality at all timesÂ
Qualifications:Â
- High school diploma required; additional education preferredÂ
- 1–3 years of experience in property management, leasing, housing programs, or related administrative roles preferredÂ
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detailÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software systemsÂ
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesÂ

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMÂ
- Fully onsite role (3 days at properties, 2 days at main office)Â
