Senior Property Accountant Highlights
Join a growing real estate organization where accounting plays a strategic role in driving portfolio performance. You'll work closely with Asset Management, Property Management, and executive leadership while gaining exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio analytics.
Senior Property Accountant Summary
The Senior Property Accountant will oversee the accounting and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate assets. This role partners closely with Property Managers and Asset Managers to ensure accurate reporting while delivering financial insights that support ownership and investment decisions.
Senior Property Accountant Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for an assigned commercial property portfolio
- Complete monthly financial close
- Prepare property financial statements
- Perform journal entries and account reconciliations
- Analyze operating expenses and budget variances
- The Senior Property Accountant will prepare CAM reconciliations and tenant billings
- Review lease abstracts and lease accounting
- Coordinate annual budgets and forecasts
- Prepare audit schedules
