We are seeking a Bilingual Assistant Manager!
The Bilingual Assistant Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational responsibilities of the community, while ensuring resident satisfaction and compliance. This position requires strong communication skills in English and a second language, and a minimum of 1 year of experience as an assistant property manager.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee file management and generate required reports.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and sales support to current and prospective residents, utilizing bilingual language skills.
  • Collect all rent and fees; oversee auditing, evictions, skips, and move-outs including property walk-throughs.
  • Communicate with legal counsel regarding the eviction process as required.
  • Finalize move-in, move-out, and renewal documentation and input information into property management systems.
  • Monitor resident renter's insurance for compliance.
  • Process deposits and applications for prospective residents promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure model and target apartments are show-ready and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of lease terms, unit availability, market trends, and community policies.
  • Support outreach marketing, maintain contact with local locator services, and coordinate with local businesses for resident engagement.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing resident retention initiatives.
  • Report unusual circumstances related to the property or residents to the Community Manager.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and consistently demonstrate positive conduct.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language (Spanish preferred; other languages considered based on the community's needs).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant Property Manager.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills in a property management or related environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and a second language.
  • Ability to remain professional, approachable, and organized in a fast-paced work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage).
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Awareness of Fair Housing Laws and local landlord-tenant regulations.
  • Experience with diverse resident populations.
