Position Overview

As a Leasing Agent, you are the face of our community. You are the first point of contact for future residents and the key to creating a vibrant, welcoming environment. Your main goal is to showcase the features and benefits of our community, convert prospects into happy residents, and help us achieve high occupancy. Key Responsibilities
  • Leasing amp; Sales: Guide prospective residents through the entire leasing process, from the initial greeting and property tour to application processing and lease signing, with the goal of closing the deal.
  • Customer Service amp; Resident Retention: Provide exceptional service to current residents, address their needs, manage maintenance requests, and support the lease renewal process to foster a positive community environment.
  • Marketing amp; Outreach: Execute marketing strategies to attract new residents, including managing online ads (like Craigslist), conducting market research, and participating in outreach events.
  • Administration amp; Compliance: Maintain accurate resident and prospect records, process payments, and ensure all activities comply with company policies and Fair Housing laws.
Qualifications

What We're Looking For (All Levels):

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience amp; Performance Levels:

  • Entry-Level (Leasing Agent I): No leasing experience is required for candidates with a background in customer service, retail, or hospitality! We provide full training. The performance goal is to consistently secure a minimum of 5 new leases per month.
  • Experienced (Leasing Agent II): Requires 1-2 years of leasing experience. The performance goal is to consistently secure a minimum of 10 new leases per month.
  • Senior amp; Lead Agents (Levels III-IV): Requires 2-4+ years of high-performing experience. These leadership roles have performance goals of 15-20+ new leases per month and involve mentoring junior agents.
