Job Title: Activity Aide

Job Summary:

As an Activity Aide at Park View, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide exceptional rehab and skilled nursing care to our patients. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team and contribute to our goal of reducing re-hospitalization rates and returning residents to their optimal level of health, physical function, and independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist activity directors with planning and implementing recreational activities for residents, including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor events

  • Encourage socialization and community engagement among residents

  • Support residents with daily living activities, such as ambulating, transferring, and feeding

  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and facility policies

  • Document resident activities and participation in reports
