Description
Position Summary:
  • Leads training, implementation, and technical assistance for Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging's (BRIA) evidence-based programs, ensuring quality, fidelity, and sustainable program delivery.
  • Supports the growth and dissemination of BRIA programs, including BRI Care Consultationβ„’, SHARE for Dementia, and other evidence-based initiatives, through training, licensing, partnerships, outreach, education, and research studies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following description is a general representation of the key duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Lead initial and ongoing training for organizations and community partners licensed to deliver BRIA evidence-based programs, including Benjamin Rose's services departments.
  • Provide technical assistance and consultation with, and fidelity monitoring of, BRIA evidence-based programs to promote consistent, high-quality implementations.
  • Develop and maintain training manuals, other program-delivery resources, and implementation tools.
  • Identify training and implementation needs of organizations and staff implementing BRIA evidence-based programs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Support Benjamin Rose's marketing, licensing, and expansion efforts for BRIA evidence-based programs.
  • Cultivate relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, referral sources, and other strategic partners that assist with expanding the reach of BRIA evidence-based programs.
  • Identify opportunities to make BRIA evidence-based programs more accessible, culturally responsive, and sustainable for underserved populations.
  • Develop and participate in research studies, presentations, educational sessions, and outreach activities to increase awareness and utilization of BRIA evidence-based programs.
  • Represent BRIA evidence-based programs in national and state initiatives, professional associations, and educational forums.
  • Contribute to grant applications, reports, publications, presentations, and other dissemination activities related to BRIA evidence-based programs.
  • Monitor emerging evidence and best practices to strengthen program training and implementation.

Requirements
Specific knowledge, training or skills required to perform the duties of this position including specific courses, training programs or required certifications. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position.
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, healthcare, gerontology, human services, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting the implementation, training, or delivery of evidence-based or evidence-informed programs, preferably in aging, healthcare, caregiving, or social services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the needs of older adults and family/friend caregivers, including those managing chronic health conditions or dementia.
  • Experience providing training, technical assistance, consultation, or program support to staff, community organizations, or other partners implementing programs or services.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality, personal health information, ethical standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Commitment to working effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable working with electronic records, web-based applications, virtual training platforms, and other technology that support program implementations.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard and telephone.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting is required, up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to uphold the stress of traveling.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required, some flexibility with hours.
  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).

Salary Description
$32.20 - $40.48/hr., commensurate with experience
