D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Foundation Laborer. The right candidate will perform manual labor on a home construction site, primarily in the construction of basements and foundations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


• Participate in the construction of a residential basement, specifically footing. Set initial wooden forms; dig four inches out of the form; place steel rebar; cut, tie, carry, and hand-shovel; pour and finish concrete
• Load and deliver materials
• Set up and take down temporary structures
• Complete job site cleanup daily by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse
• Complete all work in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
• Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
• Ability to work overtime
• Complete any duties assigned by the foreman
• Assist specialized contractors as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and willingness to travel
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Two or more years of experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
