Foundation Executive Director – Valley County Health System Foundation

Valley County Health System has a fantastic career opportunity available for a dual role Executive Assistant & Foundation Executive Director.  This is a full-time position assisting both the hospital and the Foundation with organizational objectives and goals. 

The Executive Assistant is responsible for performing various administrative functions for the CEO, preparing and distributing forms and packets for the Board of Directors meetings, preparing correspondence, memorandums, and other forms as needed, maintaining schedules, overseeing and planning events and various other administrative duties. 

The Foundation Executive Director is responsible for overseeing fundraising efforts, tracking donations, directing all Foundation operations, implementing philanthropic development strategies, completing clerical functions and coordinating event planning. 

This position serves on the VCHS Senior Leadership and VCHS Management Teams. 

REQUIREMENTS: • Associate’s degree or equivalent business experience is preferred • Extensive experience with computers (word, excel, outlook, etc.) is required • Independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
