Assistant to Doctor of Optometry

Small, private Optometry practice seeking person to join our team in an entry level position. No experience necessary.ย  We are willing to train if you are eager to learn.ย  FT position. Business hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9-5:30, Thursday 9-6:30, and Friday 8:50 โ€“ 4:30pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday
Tasks:
1. Greeting and checking-in patients to our practice in a warm and friendly manner.
2. Maintain the flow of the office and assist the doctor.
3. Answer phones, make appointments, confirm appointments
4. Insurance Authorizations
5.ย  Pretesting of patients (we will train you!)

Skills/Qualifications:
1. Superior customer skills and genuine patient care
2. Thrive in a busy, team environment
3. Must be able to multi-task
4. Good organizational skills
5. Enjoy learning new skills and information
