The Engineering Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of ETO engineering projects within specified timelines, budget, and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
The Engineering Project Manager will work closely with the cross-functional Leadership Team to communicate project status, strategize for project success, and resolve issues as they arise. The ideal candidate has a solid engineering background and a proven track record in managing engineering or technical projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, Project Management, Analytics, or a related field is required.
Experience: Minimum or 5-10 years of demonstrated Project Management experience.
  • Recent experience managing projects of medium to large size with medium to high complexity.
  • Proficient in managing multidisciplinary engineering projects, from planning to delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience interacting with Executive Leadership.
  • Preferred Certification: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Travel: 10-20%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of project management methodologies (i.e., PMBOK methodology and ETO project management).
  • Manages medium to large projects comprised of several project team members.
  • Implements success in team leadership, stakeholder management, process adherence, project ownership, and risk management capabilities.
  • Develops comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Works with Operations and Estimating staff in the development of design/engineering project budgets and proposals.
  • Engages team to identify project risks and assumptions, develops mitigation strategies/plans, and works to have strategies in place.
  • Responsible for all aspects of project cost management including estimating, funding, budgeting, forecasting, controlling, and reporting.
  • Manages project related invoices, purchase orders, contracts, and external resources.
  • Maintains regular, transparent communication with all project stakeholders.
  • Ensures project is delivered within approved budget, schedule, contingency and meets quality standards.
  • Promotes a positive Company Culture by fostering friendly and constructive employee relations.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
