About the Role
IntelliSource is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Coordinator to support employees, leaders, and HR processes within a fast-paced fulfillment and distribution center on a fixed-term contract engagement. This is a people-focused, high-impact role designed for an HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments and is looking for a structured contract opportunity with a clear end date, and competitive compensation.
The Employee Relations Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employee relations, engagement, onboarding, HR administration, payroll support, benefits questions, and employee lifecycle processes. This role partners closely with site leadership, supervisors, and associates to promote a positive, respectful, and productive workplace culture while balancing employee support with business needs, compliance, policy consistency, and operational execution.
Contract Duration: Immediate start through an estimated date on or around December 31, 2026 with final dates based on business demands.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee Relations & Engagement
โ€ข Build strong, trusted relationships with employees, supervisors, and site leadership; serve as a go-to resource for employee questions, concerns, coaching, and support
โ€ข Promote a positive, respectful, productive, and union-free workplace culture
โ€ข Support employee engagement, recognition, and appreciation activities, including birthday and anniversary boards and other site communication efforts
โ€ข Partner with leadership to identify and address engagement trends before they impact retention or morale
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle Support
โ€ข Assist with recruiting activities including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, employment screening coordination, and new hire paperwork
โ€ข Conduct new hire orientation and support a consistent, welcoming onboarding experience
โ€ข Enter and maintain accurate employee information in HRIS systems
โ€ข Support onboarding, status changes, schedule changes, department transfers, pay rate changes, benefit deductions, bill rate changes, termination paperwork, and other employee lifecycle documentation
Payroll, Benefits, Compliance & Performance Support\
โ€ข Audit timecards and maintain accurate records to support timely and accurate payroll
โ€ข Respond to benefit inquiries, explain benefit eligibility and plan provisions, process enrollments and qualifying life event changes, and administer leave of absence requests
โ€ข Support performance management, coaching, documentation, investigations, and completion of 30/60/90-day and annual reviews
โ€ข Maintain confidentiality, data integrity, and compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
โ€ข 2+ years of relevant experience in human resources, employee relations, HR coordination, operations support, recruiting coordination, payroll support, or administrative support within a fast-paced business environment
โ€ข Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
โ€ข Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Ability to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and shift between responsibilities frequently
โ€ข High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong administrative and data management skills
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general HR or business systems
Preferred
โ€ข Experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, distribution center, manufacturing, logistics, retail supply chain, or other high-volume operations environment
โ€ข Experience with HRIS systems, payroll/timekeeping processes, employee engagement, benefits administration, onboarding, leave administration, performance documentation, and employee relations investigations
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required)
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the operation for extended periods.
  • Ability to support various shifts, overtime, weekends, or peak season schedules as business needs require.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume, metric-driven environment.
  • Because this is a safety-sensitive position, job offers extended to candidates will be contingent on your ability to successfully clear post-offer criminal background screening and drug testing. Qualified Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Documentary evidence of your identity and eligibility for employment in the United States must be provided within three (3) business days of your start date.
