The University Relations Coordinator provides a range of diversified administrative and project support services to the Director of University Relations. The University Relations Coordinator is responsible for advancing university relations processes to enhance the operations of Hartford HealthCare's best-in-class University Relations initiatives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Monitors and updates the event calendar to assist the Director, University Relations, in on-time registrations, materials requested, and shipments received.
  • Develops university relations processes and logistics to enhance the operations of our best-in-class University Relations initiatives, while assisting in department processes, metrics, and activities. Responsible for routine and regular data updates, data-entry tasks, and projects.
  • Provides administrative support for sponsored events on campus, at conferences, as needed.
  • Develops communication strategy to enhance relationships with key university partners (career services, faculty, student groups, and others).
  • Coordinates requests and graduate fairs, conferences, and other events, as well as requests from university partners and for University Relations.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and organized inventory and stock of recruitment and promotional materials.
  • Program management, planning, and administration (manages day-to-day aspects of internships and fellowship program to include, but not limited to, coordinating interviews, schedules with executives and participants to plan events and programs throughout the year for current cohort and alumni).
  • Collaborates with others to organize and manage group site visits.

Qualifications:
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree required
Experience
  • 2-3 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous corporate or healthcare recruitment experience strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Prior recruiting experience preferred, campus planning or recruiting a plus
  • Team-oriented, ability to establish rapport across virtual/remote relationships
  • Some travel may be required
