About the Team: The AMS Early Career team is a critical driver in advancing TikTok's global talent strategy by connecting with top-tier university students. Our mission is to deliver exceptional, engaging experiences that showcase TikTok's people, culture, and technology through high-impact events and programs. By cultivating relationships with universities, we aim to attract and recruit high-potential students who will contribute to TikTok's growth and innovation. Role Overview: The AMS Early Career team is seeking a highly strategic and dynamic University Relations Specialist to lead and support initiatives that build and strengthen TikTok's university relationships across the Americas. This role will play an integral part in shaping and executing recruiting strategies, creating high-value partnerships with universities, and driving top-of-funnel talent acquisition to fuel TikTok's global pipeline. You will work closely with the University Relations and Early Careers teams to develop and execute strategies that increase TikTok's visibility on campuses, foster meaningful connections, and ultimately drive the recruitment of the best early-career talent. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Partnership Development: Lead efforts to build long-term, impactful relationships with universities, strengthening TikTok's presence and positioning as an employer of choice. Cultivate partnerships with university leaders, career centers, and student organizations to enhance recruitment outcomes. - Top-of-Funnel Talent Pipeline: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to build and expand the top-of-funnel talent pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of diverse, high-potential students into TikTok's recruiting process. - Project Leadership & Coordination: Oversee and drive the successful execution of various projects, including information sessions, career fairs, on-campus events, and asset management. Ensure timely, on-budget delivery while maintaining a high standard of quality. - Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, providing updates on project status, opportunities, and challenges. Serve as an ambassador for TikTok's brand and communicate its mission, values, and opportunities to external partners and large audiences. - Engagement & Event Strategy: Design, plan, and execute innovative events to deepen TikTok's engagement with university students. Craft event content and materials that effectively communicate TikTok's value proposition as an employer and technology leader. - Data-Driven Insights: Track, analyze, and report on the success of recruitment programs and initiatives, providing key insights to drive continuous improvement and inform future strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience in leading and executing programs or events, preferably within early careers, talent acquisition, or HR. - Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence and engage at all levels. - Strong analytical abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn, and Social Media platforms. Preferred Qualifications: - Advantageous to have 2 years of experience in Campus Recruitment, University Relations, or Early Career talent programs. - Demonstrated ability to present confidently to large, diverse audiences, both virtually and in-person. - Experience with asset design or content creation for events and marketing materials.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $108000 - $168000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
