The Workforce Learning & Development organization is currently seeking Experienced Employee Development Specialists to join their group in Auburn, WA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in adult training and instruction techniques who has a passion for training the next generation of skilled workers. This position supports our internal New Hire Onboarding program and foundational skills instruction.
Position Responsibilities:
โ€ข Ability to apply knowledge of instructional skills (e.g. preparation, delivery, summary, assess student progress, remediation, motivation, engagement, etc.)
โ€ข Using a variety of media, clearly conveys information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the content.
โ€ข Identifies business specific learning objectives and adapts curriculum content and delivery methods
โ€ข Identifies potential issues that impact performance and recommends development of improvement recommendations
โ€ข Able to assess requirements and schedule courses and instructors
โ€ข Analyze, validate, optimize and coordinate training requests for new hire, recall, and transfer employees
โ€ข Be able to support off-shift as necessary
Required Skills:
โ€ข Strong background in Fabrication, Assembly, Composites and/or Quality Systems
โ€ข Strong background in training and instructional skills
