Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Quality Coordinator (Document Control) at our manufacturing facility in Provo, Utah.

Warehouse positions pay Weekly!

  • Hourly Pay: $25.50+ depending upon experience/certifications
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Requirements: 3 years of quality assurance experience with document control within a food manufacturing facility

This position is responsible for ensuring quality expectations including, but not limited to employee safety, food safety, sanitation and quality systems.

  • Job Duties:
    • Create and maintain documents and records relating to the quality system (specifications, Master Manufacturing Records, change control, deviations, material disposition forms)
    • Collects and reviews supplier approval documents
    • Assists with internal audits
  • Requirements: 
    • 3 or more years of QA/Document Control experience in the food and or/dietary supplement industry 
    • Skilled using Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • High school diploma required
  • Previous experience in food grade facility
  • Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications 
  • Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications 
  • Perform timely checks to meet specifications
  • Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
  • Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety 
  • Maintain qualify to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc. 
  • Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines 
  • Other duties as required or assigned
