BZI Steel is looking for an on-site Document Control Manager to lead the data and document control process that supports shop operations. This role is responsible for making sure jobs are set up correctly, drawings are reviewed, machine routes are established, work is organized, and system data is accurate.
This position has one direct report and requires someone who can lead with ownership, communicate across departments, solve problems, and help keep the shop moving with clean, reliable information.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with data, supporting people, improving systems, and helping the business operate more effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage new job setup in the system.
  • Review drawings and confirm required shop information.
  • Establish machine routes based on lot, sequence, and work type.
  • Sort and organize work to support production flow.
  • Import, review, and track work progress.
  • Help correct data entry errors across departments.
  • Coordinate with detailing, production, purchasing, accounting, planning, and quality teams.
  • Enter purchase orders and support invoicing for completed work.
  • Lead, support, and develop one direct report.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, system flow, and overall process efficiency.
