Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating service calls, scheduling technicians, and ensuring efficient daily operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Schedule and dispatch service technicians for service calls
  • Coordinate technician schedules to maximize efficiency and meet customer expectations
  • Communicate with customers regarding appointment times and service updates
  • Monitor technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed
  • Enter service calls, customer information, and job details into dispatch software
  • Provide technicians with job information, directions, and customer notes
  • Maintain clear communication between customers, technicians, and management
  • Handle incoming service calls and adjust schedules accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, work orders, and technician activity
  • Review technician timecards
  • Ensure that all paperwork needed to complete and bill work order is collected and passed on to billing within 24 hours

Qualifications
  • Previous dispatching experience in plumbing, HVAC, construction, or service industry preferred
