As a Security Officer Security Clearance Dispatch Operator in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatcher supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarm activity, document incidents, and direct response resources to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service, maintain accurate records, and serve as a critical communication link for security-related operations. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor incoming calls, radio communications, alarms, and other dispatch-related systems; accurately document and relay information to appropriate personnel and/or responding teams.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
  • Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, dispatch records, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Support access control and visitor management activities, including verifying credentials and directing authorized individuals to appropriate locations.

Minimum Requirements:
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
