Lab Dispatcher Job Description:

PrideStaff is currently working with an international laboratory testing company that has an opening for a fully remote Lab Dispatcher. The Lab Dispatcher will provide support for multiple departments and teams. The Lab Dispatcher will monitor transportation vendor performance, troubleshoot problems, and provide communication support. The ideal Lab Dispatcher is motivated, organized, goal-oriented, and has strong computer and technical skills. The Lab Dispatcher is a full-time, remote, temp-to-hire position.


 Lab Dispatcher Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage Third-Party Vendor relationships, Monitor Activities & Evaluate Performance; Resolve Issues from Internal & External Clients
  • Plan & Organize Work, Ensure Adequate Resources in Accordance with Transportation’s and Other Department Schedules
  • Maintain Client Data and Route Information Utilizing TMS, Intergis VCR or any Other Applicable System
  • Implement Department Strategy & Communicate a Coherent Vision of the Department
  • Communicate with Internal Departments to Coordinate Work & Resolve Issues as Needed


 Lab Dispatcher Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 
  • Transportation Experience or Combination of Education and Experience is Required; Associate's or Bachelor's is Preferred
  • Excellent Computer and Technical Skills & Ability to Multitask Between Multiple Technologies & Programs (i.e Phone, Software, MS Office, TMS, Intergis VCR, etc) is a Must 
  • Must Have Proven Ability to Provide Excellent Customer Service
  • Strong Communication Skills (Verbal & written) are Required
  • Must be Reliable and Dependable in Attendance
  • Strong Attention to Detail & Value Accuracy, Safety & Quality
  • Ability to Work Independently & Collaborate as Part of a Team
  •  Have a Positive Attitude & be Able to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment
