Benefits Analyst

The Benefits Analyst supports the day-to-day administration of CAVA's benefits programs, helping ensure team members receive timely, accurate, and helpful support with their health, financial, and lifestyle benefits. This role plays an important part in maintaining data accuracy, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring a smooth team member experience throughout the benefits lifecycle. With a service-oriented mindset, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn, the Benefits Analyst will help scale and evolve our benefits operations in alignment with CAVA's values and growth.

What You'll Do:

Support the administration of team member benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and voluntary benefits.

Assist team members with benefits-related questions and guide them through enrollment, changes, and life event processes.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefit records in the HRIS and vendor platforms.

Help process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations, ensuring data is entered correctly and on time.

Monitor benefits eligibility and assist with auditing records for accuracy and compliance.

Partner with Payroll and HRIS to ensure correct benefits deductions and data flow.

Support the execution of annual open enrollment, including testing, communications, and team member support.

Help coordinate with external vendors and brokers on routine questions, enrollments, and escalations.

Track and organize benefits documentation, communications, and compliance notices.

Stay up to date on benefits-related trends and regulations and contribute to improving internal processes.

The Qualifications:

Education & Experience

1-3 years of experience in benefits, HR operations, or a related administrative role; internship or HR assistant experience a plus.

Basic understanding of employee benefit programs and common regulations (ACA, HIPAA, COBRA) preferred.

High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Comfortable working with spreadsheets, HRIS platforms, and third-party vendor tools.

Clear communication and customer service skills, with a team-first mindset.

Eagerness to learn and grow within the HR or Total Rewards field.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment

Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details

For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds

Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively

Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
