Job Title: VP - Data Analytics / Data Analytics Architect
Experience: 15+ Years
Role Type: Full-time / Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned VP - Data Analytics / Data Analytics Architect to lead enterprise-wide data strategy, analytics architecture, and advanced insights initiatives. This role will drive data-driven decision-making, modern analytics platforms, and scalable data solutions while partnering closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the enterprise data & analytics strategy and roadmap
Design and govern end-to-end analytics architecture (data ingestion, storage, processing, visualization)
Lead large-scale data transformation and modernization initiatives
Drive adoption of advanced analytics, BI, AI/ML, and predictive modeling
Partner with business leaders to translate business objectives into analytics solutions
Oversee data governance, data quality, security, and compliance frameworks
Evaluate and select analytics platforms, tools, and technologies
Lead and mentor data architects, engineers, analysts, and data scientists
Establish KPIs and metrics to measure business value from analytics initiatives
Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs and senior stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience:
15+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Architecture
Proven experience in VP / Director / Enterprise Architect-level roles
Strong expertise in data architecture and analytics platforms
Hands-on knowledge of cloud data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, lakehouse architectures
Strong background in BI & visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Exposure to AI/ML, advanced analytics, and big data technologies
Experience managing large, cross-functional global teams
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise data governance frameworks
Exposure to industry-specific analytics (Retail, BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, etc.)
Hands-on experience with tools like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse
Background in Agile / SAFe delivery models
MBA or advanced degree in Data, Analytics, or Technology (preferred)
