Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

  • Manages laboratory lanes to budget through cost savings and productivity monitoring
  • Monitors and utilizes data to evaluate and drive business decisions for capital and teammate resources
  • Standardizes and ensures policy and procedures are current for services at lab locations and meet federal, state and local regulatory requirements
  • Facilitates communication between business lanes and shifts and across departments
  • Oversee the development and/or expansion of service lines and projects for long term planning for internal and external business opportunities ​
  • Provides guidance regarding strategies to continuously improve service offerings and support organization capabilities
  • Sets performance standards and utilizes influence to meet department and organization goals and initiatives
  • Drives engagement and a sense of belonging on the team
  • Mentors and develops leaders and emerging talent ​
  • Oversee the training, competency and performance of laboratory testing by teammates to include recording and resulting tests accurately to assure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Ensures quality control and quality assurance programs are established and maintained to assure quality of laboratory services provided
  • Ensures good customer relations for internal and external customers, resolving problems in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned.
