Job description

The Digital Ad Operations Coordinator plays a key role in the execution, coordination, and performance tracking of direct-sold digital advertising campaigns across display, video, and high-impact formats. This position partners closely with Sales, outsourced trafficking teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure campaigns are launched accurately, meet contractual KPIs, and deliver a strong client experience.
This is an entry-level opportunity for candidates looking to build a foundation in digital ad operations, including campaign setup, troubleshooting, reporting, and client support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, collaborative, and eager to develop technical and analytical skills within the digital advertising space.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution

  • Coordinates and ensures quality of campaign builds by working closely with outsourced trafficking partners.
  • Ensures campaign elements-including targeting, creative assets, flight dates, and delivery goals-are accurate, aligned with order management systems, and meet client KPIs.
  • Maintains consistent and accurate campaign documentation across platforms.

High-Impact & Sponsorship Campaigns

  • Supports successful execution of custom, high-impact, and sponsorship campaigns by ensuring creative, sequencing, and timing requirements are met.
  • Contributes to launch readiness and internal communication to ensure seamless campaign activation.

Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting

  • Contributes to campaign quality by identifying delivery discrepancies, pacing issues, and technical errors.
  • Facilitates timely escalation and resolution of issues by collaborating with senior team members, engineering, and external partners.
  • Helps drive continuous improvement by documenting recurring issues and supporting process enhancements.

Campaign Monitoring & Optimization

  • Supports ongoing campaign performance by monitoring pacing, delivery trends, and key metrics.
  • Identifies potential risks to delivery and contributes to optimization efforts, including adjustments to creative rotation, pacing, and targeting under guidance.

Reporting & Sales Support

  • Delivers accurate and timely reporting to support internal stakeholders and Sales teams.
  • Provides visibility into campaign performance through standard and ad hoc reports, and contributes insights by identifying trends or anomalies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborates with Sales, Creative, Product, and Revenue Operations teams to support campaign execution and optimization.
  • Acts as a liaison between internal stakeholders and outsourced partners to ensure alignment and efficient communication throughout the campaign lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in digital advertising, marketing operations, or campaign coordination
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital advertising concepts (impressions, clicks, targeting, pacing, flighting)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ad servers (Google Ad Manager preferred)
  • Experience supporting direct-sold (IO-based) campaigns or trafficking workflows
  • Exposure to reporting or data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Basic knowledge of digital creative specifications and tracking
