About the Role

As an Account Director (AD), you work strategically with our clients to innovate through data, technology and creativity, transforming the lives of students by better connecting them with education opportunities. You are an Education and Student Sector expert who maintains brilliant client-agency partnerships throughout the relationship lifecycle, in pursuit of better client outcomes, higher satisfaction, retention and growth.

Using your expertise in Higher Education and student recruitment, you onboard new clients, establish the framework for delivering against their strategic goals and recruitment objectives, work with clients and account teams year-round to share and action market insight, report on performance against strategic targets, and identify new opportunities to innovate and grow client market share.


Metrics for Success

  1. Net Revenue growth from existing partnerships
  2. Net Revenue growth from new partnerships
  3. New logos won


Key Responsibilities

Client Partnership & Onboarding

  • Establish the foundation of a positive, constructive partnership through a thorough onboarding process.
  • Understand each client, their challenges and objectives, and work with the team to provide effective solutions.
  • Own the relationship across its full lifecycle, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction that drive retention.

Growth & Business Development

  • Oversee the delivery of client growth against targets and identify new opportunities for clients to innovate and grow market share.
  • Grow net revenue from existing partnerships and win new logos through evidence-based, strategic recommendations.
  • Educate clients and colleagues on market insight, translating it into actionable opportunities for growth.

Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Facilitate gold standard practices across the account team.
  • Resolve issues and maintain operational efficiency so clients are happily growing in line with their goals.
  • Report on performance versus strategic targets and adjust the approach as needed.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work with Customer Success Directors, subject experts, and cross-functional teams to prioritise client needs and prepare for productive discussions.
  • Live our ABC values, being accountable for your own tasks, brave enough to try new things, and curious about industry developments.
  • Contribute to a team recognised as one of the most supportive in the industry.


What We Need From You

  • At least 5 years within the HE Sector, ideally in marketing or admissions.
  • Understanding of digital advertising platforms and capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A natural presenter.
  • Sociable and professional.
