Job description


The Team:
The eCommerce team oversees all aspects of the Hermès.com business while supporting omnichannel services as a cross-functional member within the Hermès corporate & retail network. The team deploys digital initiatives, enhances the online assortment, and optimizes the platform for ease in the user journey.
The Opportunity:
As the Digital Strategy Coordinator, you will help to drive growth under the eCommerce division and greater teams. You will support the team in reaching full sales potential by optimizing the product assortment, evaluating user needs, identifying market trends, and making actionable recommendations for ease in the online journey.
About the Role:
  • Develop a broad understanding of all eCommerce and Merchandising functions and responsibilities to provide the Digital Strategy team support across multiple divisions with cross-functional partners.
  • Support the Digital Strategy Manager in their day-to-day responsibilities.

Reporting
  • Prepare daily reporting for Digital Strategy team on sales trend, inventory, and omnichannel highlights. Based on findings, provide insights and actionables to drive the eCommerce business and reach sales plans.
  • Support Digital Strategy team by preparing ad-hoc reports for business reviews.
  • Assist in developing market preparational tools for the eCommerce buying team ahead of buying appointments 4x per year.

Product Merchandising
  • Review sales & stock levels to drive online business for Hermès departments. Ensure optimal inventory levels to increase conversion and sales potential.
  • Monitor daily product deliveries and relay opportunity to cross-functional teams for website highlights.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to launch products online and ensure product accuracy on site. Monitor launch performance and relay results to greater teams.
  • Assist the buying team in order entry and requested edits.

Project Execution
  • Support development & execution of both short- and long-term project roll-out. Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure alignment and synergy across initiatives.
  • Compile competitive analyses on industry best-practices on product offerings and digital space.

About You:
  • 1+ year(s) in a similar role or work environment (retail merchandising/planning, digital analytics, or buying role)
  • BA degree preferred
  • Weekend availability required - occasionally need to provide weekend support during peak periods for business.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong collaborator-ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Natural problem-solving skills
  • High level attention to detail
  • Knowledge of French is helpful, but not required

The range for this position is $28.65-$33.35 per hour. Actual rates are determined on the job, location, and individual experience.
