Job description

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for handling all incoming phone calls and internet leads, as well as confirming sales appointments and performing long-term follow up on all unsold customers (ex: internet leads, showroom visits, and incoming calls), and in person accessory presentations.  Business Development Associates will strive to generate repeat business by reaching out to current customers and ensuring complete satisfaction in ownership, as well as in marketing efforts by accurately obtaining and logging customer information and sources.
 
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Communicate effectively with internet customer and prospects according to their preferred method of communication (phone, email, or in person).
  • Manage Internet sales leads, respond to inquiries in a timely fashion, and answer questions on available stock and product performance.
  • Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.
  • Stay informed with business marketing efforts, and services provided by Handy Toyota.
  • Schedule appointments with interested buyers for test drives and delivery of vehicles.
  • Willing to do miscellaneous tasks as required by management.
Preferred Requirements and Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service or general sales experience of 1-3 years.
  • Day to day tasks are complete on a state of the art CRM system, as well as using Microsoft Office, so basic-intermediate computer skills are necessary.
  • The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, punctual, and capable of making and receiving a high volume of phone calls on a daily basis.
  • Requires strong communication skills in order to work most effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Comfortable with basic addition and subtraction as necessary to follow pricing guidelines.
  • Excellent follow through and follow up skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple work related functions simultaneously.
  • Ability to sit for long-periods of time.  Work is done in a cubical type setting.
  • This position is a full time position which will include Saturday’s and evening work.
