Are you energetic, patient, and passionate about helping young minds grow? We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Paraeducator to join our early childhood team. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment for children aged 3 to 5.
From morning circle time to afternoon dismissal, you will play a vital role in helping our littlest learners develop social, emotional, and academic skills through play and structured activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support: Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans, managing classroom transitions, and setting up activities (arts and crafts, sensory play, story time).
  • Individualized Attention: Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who need extra support reaching their developmental milestones.
  • Safety & Supervision: Maintain a watchful eye on children during classroom time, recess, lunchtime, and bathroom breaks to ensure a safe environment.
  • Positive Behavioral Support: Help guide children in developing social skills, sharing, and emotional regulation using positive reinforcement.
