Job description

This Marketing Manager at InvenSense, a TDK group company, will drive engagement and demand across our digital, partner, and distributor channels. TDK is a leading provider of sensing solutions to the world's top consumer, automotive, and industrial brands.
Reporting to the Global Head of Sensors Corporate Marketing, this individual contributor will own and execute B2B marketing activities including integrated digital campaigns, email marketing, partner marketing communications, and distributor marketing enablement.
We're looking for a self-directed, hands-on digital marketing expert with a proven understanding of reaching hardware engineers and embedded developers. You'll work closely with external vendors and internal partners, while optimizing results and influencing ongoing marketing strategy. This role has ample opportunity for global scale and impact.
Core Responsibilities:
Digital & Developer Marketing
  • Execute multi-channel digital campaigns (email, social, website optimization, SEO, SEM, paid media)
  • Optimize lead quality, analytics and reporting
  • Manage marketing emails, systems, and segmented audience lists
  • Enhance audience engagement within our developer community
  • Promote technical content via webinars, product launches, and forums

Partner Marketing Communications
  • Plan and execute on co-marketing activities with strategic ecosystem partners
  • Execute partner comms plans in coordination with product, PR, social, and event marketers
  • Manage partner marketing agreements and co-branding commitments
  • Set objectives for partner co-marketing, measuring, and reporting on results including leads and sales

Distributor & Channel Marketing
  • Execute global distributor marketing initiatives including featured product promotions and digital campaigns
  • Coordinate online training enablement and select regional marketing programs
  • Align channel programs with sales priorities and revenue objectives
  • Serve as primary marketing point-of-contact for program execution and reporting

Requirements:
  • 6-8+ years of B2B marketing experience that includes semiconductor or related hardware industry experience
  • Strong hands-on digital demand generation marketing experience, with examples in paid campaigns and marketing automation
  • Proficiency engaging with engineers, developers, and distributors on technical topics
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to repurpose content
  • Examples of programs you've owned from plan through execution to measuring, optimizing, and reporting on results
  • Examples of proficiency with CRM, email marketing systems, lead management, and sales enablement
  • Solid project management and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively across teams and timezones
  • Proficiency with standard digital marketing and creative tools, as well as Microsoft Office
  • Strong work ethic, ownership, and attention to detail, with a results orientation
  • Ability to be onsite San Jose 2-3 days a week (W/Th and every other Monday)
  • Occasional but minimal travel to partner meetings or industry events
  • Marketing degree strongly preferred

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $100,000.00 and $130,000.00 for San Jose, CA. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role is also eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.
