Job description

Marketing Manager, Local Now Position Summary

Allen Media Group (AMG), owner of Local Now, is seeking a data-driven Marketing Manager to lead creative management, lifecycle marketing, and engagement across the Local Now streaming platform.

This individual will own CRM strategy across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and partner marketing initiatives designed to increase viewer engagement, retention, and lifetime value. This role will work cross-functionally with Product, Creative, and Programming to deliver personalized customer experiences that keep users coming back to Local Now.

This individual will also serve as the primary marketing lead for all creative development and partner marketing initiatives supporting Local Now's continued growth.




Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Own Local Now's CRM strategy across email, push notifications, and future lifecycle channels.

  • Develop customer segmentation strategies based on user behavior, geography, content affinity, and engagement.

  • Own creative briefing process and asset management of marketing materials

  • Organize and develop all paid media creative for Local Now

  • Build automated lifecycle campaigns including onboarding, activation, re-engagement, retention, and win-back journeys.

  • Partner with Product to develop in-app messaging and lifecycle touchpoints that improve engagement and retention in-app.

  • Lead creative strategy for CRM channels by developing briefs, managing creative production, and continuously testing messaging and creative formats.

  • Develop and execute A/B testing roadmaps across subject lines, creative, messaging, timing, personalization, and audience segmentation.

  • Partner with Programming to promote live weather events, breaking news, local content, and tentpole programming through owned marketing channels.

  • Manage partner marketing campaigns across distribution partners to support both acquisition and retention initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve lifecycle marketing capabilities, customer data infrastructure, and personalization.

  • Analyze campaign performance and customer behavior using AppsFlyer, CRM platforms, and internal analytics.

  • Develop new reporting focused on retention, engagement, lifetime value, and customer health.

  • Stay current on streaming industry lifecycle marketing best practices and identify new opportunities for personalization and automation.




Preferred Experience
  • 3–6 years of CRM, lifecycle, retention, or growth marketing experience.

  • Experience with streaming, media, or consumer apps.

  • Experience managing email, push notification, SMS, and in-app messaging campaigns.

  • Familiarity with Active Campaign or similar CRM platforms like Salesforce or Braze.

  • Experience with customer segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation.

  • Strong analytical background with experience measuring retention, engagement, churn, and customer lifetime value.

  • Experience partnering with Product, Creative, and Engineering teams.
