Mechanical Engineering Manager Opportunity - CNC Machine / Machine Build / Capital Equipment

A multinational CNC Machine Builder / Capital Equipment Manufacturer with a facility in the Troy, MI area is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager for a long-term, direct-hire opportunity with their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager who is looking for a company that offers excellent growth opportunities, and competitive benefits and pay rates!

Pay rates will be salaried and base salaries are anticipated to start up to $150,000 commensurate with experience. We also offer excellent benefits including Bonuses, Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays, 401k with match, vacations, and more!

Qualified candidates for the Mechanical Engineering Manager position will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering Required.
  • 5+ years of experience with the engineering and design of CNC machinery: machine frames, enclosures, tool changers, materials, motion controls, hydraulics / pneumatics, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of budgets, quotes, and scheduling for Machine Assembly Projects.
  • Experience with managing teams of Engineers and Designers. Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Travel will likely be in the 10-25% overnight range, typically shorter durations of trips and on the lower side of the range. This is a customer facing role.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (no student visas or sponsorship candidates considered), and complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
