Job description

Job Title: AR/Deductions Analyst

Location: Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area, Minnesota (100% onsite, only local candidates in Minnesota will be eligible for consideration)

Compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 / Per Hour dependent on applicable experience

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and eligible for 401(k).

We are partnering with a growing organization to identify a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR)/Deductions Analyst. This role focuses on supporting deduction management processes across multiple entities and collaborating cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies in a fast-paced environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a transactional accounting background who enjoys problem-solving, investigative work, and working with multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer deductions across multiple entities
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Fulfillment, and Supply Chain teams to research and resolve deduction issues
  • Track, review, and follow up on deduction discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
  • Support the stabilization and ongoing use of a deduction management system
  • Assist with reconciliation activities and maintain accurate transactional records
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure visibility and alignment on deduction status
  • Contribute to process improvements and help enhance overall deduction management workflows

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of experience in accounting support, deductions, reconciliations, or transactional finance
  • Strong organizational and task management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and collaborating with multiple teams
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Light accounting knowledge (degree not required but a plus)
  • Experience with deduction management systems or ERP tools is a plus
