Job Description:

  • Work Location : Solon, OH - HYBRID
  • Work Schedule : FT / M-F / 9-5 

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Trade Finance Support (TFS) Analyst plays a critical role in supporting sales and finance with trade operations by ensuring accurate data entry, validating financial transactions, reconciling trade activities, and delivering timely reporting and insights to stakeholders.
  • Each TFS Analyst is assigned to specific Account Managers and customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all trade promotion-related work.
  • This includes managing system updates, maintaining compliance, and driving accuracy across trade processes.
  • The role requires close collaboration with CAM/DSM teams, Field Finance, and Account Managers to ensure seamless execution of trade programs and financial integrity. 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Management & System Updates:

  • Input and maintain accurate trade updates and changes in XTEL.
  • Validate and update necessary changes to ADL (Assortment Distribution List).
  • Work with CS to ensure customer profiles are accurate and up to date. 

Forecasting & Planning:

  • Send Sales Reports to CAM/DSM for review and schedule forecast review calls.
  • Validate forecast numbers and ensure alignment with TRR (Trade Review Report).
  • Support planning tools such as X11 Planning Tool and Weekly Event Spend Report.
  • Review and revise the forecast before the lock date of each month.
  • Call out gaps and trends based on prior month/year performance.

Trade Management & Reconciliation:

  • Review and reconcile events to ensure goals and TRR align with Sales Finance.
  • Manage promotional data updates and ensure accuracy across systems.
  • Daily SDB (sales bulletins) review and follow up actions.

Invoice & Deduction Processing:

  • Validate invoice backup and process payments in XTEL.
  • Match deductions to promotions; collaborate with Business Partners to resolve mismatches.
  • Manage weekly deduction reports and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Collaborate/assist on UADs. Review the 054/055 report to determine if money can be applied to UADs.
  • No Paperwork Deductions - review and assist on aged cases over 60 days.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Participate in monthly Sales and Trade review calls with Field Finance, Account Managers, and CAM/DSM.
  • Coordinate with CAM/DSM for updates, clarifications, and issue resolution.
  • Facilitate Monthly Training - Refreshers and Best Practices.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience defined as a minimum of 4 years of relevant, professional-level experience in a similar field.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Sales, or Sales Support.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for results.
  • Strong communication skills, clear, concise, and effective in both written and verbal formats.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to manage complex workflows and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Advanced computer proficiency and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
