Job description

Transdev is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to support our fixed-route transit operations in Las Vegas, NV. This role serves as a key business partner to the General Manager, providing financial leadership, operational insights, and oversight to ensure strong financial performance and compliance across the organization.

Transdev is proud to offer:

  • Competitive compensation package of minimum $117,000 – maximum $144,000

Benefits include:

  • Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing analysis and reporting on financial performance, including interpretation of key metrics and trends
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and support the General Manager with monthly forecasting
  • Develop financial projections to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and local leadership team
  • Partner closely with Corporate Finance (dotted-line reporting relationship)
  • Oversee daily reporting, month-end close, and all required corporate and local reporting
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze operational KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop a strong understanding of key profitability drivers within the operation
  • Manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Oversee financial aspects of capital projects, procurement, audits, and contracts
  • Lead and ensure compliance with the DBE Program, including goal attainment
  • Oversee all fare revenue collection and reporting processes
  • Maintain accurate financial records and strong internal controls
  • Prepare required financial reports for state, federal, and local agencies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
