Fulltime opportunity based in the Bronx.
As a SQL Database Administrator, the ideal candidate would be responsible for the entire SQL infrastructure, managing SQL databases in multiple environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of SQL database development experience (MSSQL Server 2008/2012/2016 & MySQL).
  • Bachelor's degree and/or work-related experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology related field.
  • Knowledge of relational database, data warehouse, and operational data store design that lead to support business intelligence solutions/applications.
  • Any programming language is a huge plus.
  • Any report writer software is a huge plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - demonstrate a positive attitude, able to work effectively as part of a project team and foster team collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Planning and time management are essential.
  • Ability to model database flows using Visio.
