Job description

E-logic is seeking a hybrid Database Developer and Administrator to maximize the performance, structure, and integrity of our primary analytical data warehouse environment for the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Office of Inspector General (OIG). This role will be hybrid in Washington DC area, as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and develop for Amazon Redshift (RA3 nodes) and Amazon PostgreSQL databases within a FedRAMP High pre-production and production framework.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain complex relational structures, Raw History tables, and staging schemas.
  • Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks associated with high-volume incremental health claim data loads.

Qualifications

  • Advanced expertise in AWS Redshift administration, PostgreSQL database development, and query optimization.
  • Experience managing complex structures related to medical/pharmaceutical data elements (providers, subscribers, payment processing rules).
  • 3+ years in database administration/development supporting data warehouse environments for analytics or auditing.
